Where the wild beasts roam
This mural, created in Vallà, Italy, portrays a symbolic migration led by a group of hybrid creatures that evoke endangered species forced to leave their habitats behind. At the front, the fox serves as a guide — a symbol of cleverness, but also vulnerability — embodying the intelligence needed to adapt.
Alongside it, fantastical beings emerge: a frog with a dinosaur-like body, a wise-looking owl, a snail transforming into a heron. Each is a fusion of reality and imagination — nature reimagined in an effort to survive.
The scene is led by the Soul Rider, a recurring figure in Dulk’s visual universe. This character represents awareness and a deep connection to the natural world, guiding the caravan in a dreamlike procession.
The mural invites reflection on transformation, the resilience of nature, and the need to envision new ways of coexisting.
