This mural painted in Shinan captures the most representative fauna of the country. Between birds and nature, we can see mudskippers, a very particular creature that’s a mix between fish and amphibian. In addition, we can see the tiger, the national animal, which is ironically extinct in the nation. I liked the idea of keeping it as an emblem of South Korea.

Wild Symphony

Shinan, an archipelago known for its serene landscapes and diverse ecosystems, provided the perfect backdrop for this artistic tribute.

The mural vividly portrays the unique fauna that inhabit the islands, blending seamlessly with the lush, verdant scenery. By incorporating the symbol of the tiger into the artwork, the mural serves as a poignant reminder of the natural heritage and the conservation efforts needed to protect it.

I had the privilege of painting a mural that celebrates the rich wildlife and natural beauty of Shinan. It was our first time painting in South Korea and it was a very special experience.
